Team sports bring people together. Unified Sports teams include people with intellectual disabilities (athletes) and people without (Unified Partners) in an effort to shatter stereotypes through positive interaction on the playing field.
Unified Partners can be of any age, gender, relationship to the athlete, and should be of similar ability.
SOWV offers Unified competition in Athletics (track relays), Baggo, Basketball, Bocce, Bowling, Cheerleading, Flag Football, Golf, Softball, and Volleyball.
