USA Games Coach Application

The 2026 USA Games will be held June 20-26. If you are selected to be a coach, you will be required to stay with the team at the University of Minnesota campus. You will also be required to become Level 2 certified in the sport for which you are selected (if you aren’t already).

By completing this application, you agree to an interview with SOWV staff.

Applications are due no later than December 1, 2024.

- I understand that I may or may not be asked to interview with the Special Olympics WV State Office in order to proceed to the next step in the application process. (An interview does not necessarily indicate whether you will be selected or not.)
- I understand that as a coach, I am also serving as a chaperone during the course of USA Games.
- I understand that, if selected, I am expected to maintain constant contact with the Special Olympics WV state office and Team West Virginia athletes leading up to and during USA Games.
- I understand that I must abide by the philosophy and rules set by the Team West Virginia Head of Delegation, Assistant Head of Delegation and Games Organizing Committee.
- I understand that if I do not meet all requirements, or I violate the SOWV or USA Games Code of Conduct, I can be removed from my position with Team West Virginia without appeal.
- I understand that if I am selected, I will be required to fill out additional forms provided by SONA and SOWV for all USA Games attendees.
- I certify that the information I have submitted is accurate and honest.
